Year 3 Enjoys an Unforgettable Roman Adventure

On Thursday 7th May, Year 3 had a fantastic Roman Day filled with fun, learning and excitement! The children fully embraced the day, arriving in brilliant costumes that really brought Ancient Rome to life. They explored a range of fascinating artefacts and were eager to learn more about how the Romans lived, worked and played. Throughout the day, they took part in Roman games, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm, and discovered what life was like in the Roman army, even trying out some training activities themselves. The experience was led by a visitor from Portals to the Past, who made the whole day engaging and memorable. He praised the year group for being respectful, enthusiastic and great fun, and shared how much he had enjoyed spending the day with them. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that everyone will remember!
