Pupil Premium

What is the Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium funding is allocated to schools to enable them to support children from low-income families or children who are in care or adopted from care.

Pupil Premium is also made available for pupils who have been eligible for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years (‘Ever 6’) and children from families in the Armed Forces.

The intention is that the grant will be used to enable schools to support children to receive the best possible opportunities; support learning and development; and to improve educational outcomes.

For more information on Pupil Premium funding and to find out if you are eligible please use this link.

If you think you are eligible for Free School Meals, you can apply using this link (Link to Pupil premium application form in documents – reports). Alternatively, you can request a paper copy of the application form from the school office.

The spending and impact of this grant are monitored by Fiona Morris, Our SEND and Pupil Premium Lead Governor, on behalf of the school governors.
