Curriculum Intent Statement
We firmly believe that placing PSHE and Values education at the heart of our children’s learning experience will help nurture kindness, empathy, determination and resilience. We aspire to be kind and try our best in all we do so that we can contribute positively to our local, national and global communities. When we have choices to make at key points in our lives, we want to have options and opportunities that will help us achieve physical and emotional well-being, security and success. To this end, the six Jigsaw themes of Being Me In My World; Celebrating Difference; Dreams and Goals; Healthy Me; Relationships; and Changing Me shape and determine the books we read and topic work we build around each theme, each term.
