Signing Ambassadors

We are Signing Ambassadors from Year 1 to Year 6 at John Hampden School. We are very proud to be learning Makaton sign language to support pupils in our school who need the help of signs to communicate. We learn new signs each week and it is our job to teach the other children in our class and to lead occasions where signing complements an assembly or an event. We learn signs for topics and mostly through singing and signing. It is so much fun to learn new signs and to be able to communicate with everyone.
