Due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, we postponed the burning of Pudding Lane this term. Don’t worry though, the cardboard buildings the children created will be set alight, to recreate the Great Fire of London, when we have calmer weather. On Tuesday 14th September, Year 4 ventured to Ancient Egypt for the day. Our school was alive with Egygtian Gods, Goddesses, Mummies and Sphinx! This year John Hampden had a very different Artsweek experience due to the pandemic and keeping our school Covid safe. We still had Artsweek but at a later date and without our usual army of helpers.
