Year 2 were very lucky to have a visit from Thame fire brigade this term. We wowed them with our knowledge about The Great Fire of London and they told us all about the modern day fire service and how it has changed compared to during The Great Fire of London in 1666. Christmas Singing
On Friday 12th December, the Year 3 and 4 choir went for a tour of Thame, entertaining residents at Yeats Lodge and Windmill Place with their repertoire of Christmas songs. They loved the experience and relished chatting with residents after they had sung. We are very proud of the children, they were great ambassadors for
Year 2 Nativity
The Year 2 children gave four stunning performances of this year’s Nativity ‘I’m Gonna Shine’ by Out of the Ark Music. True to the name, every cast member shone and couldn’t be more proud of the singing, acting, harminising and Makaton sign language on display. Well done Year 2!

Unusually, I’ll start by talking about this evening because we have just jad a circle time reflection with the children, talking about the week and it was emotional! Brrrrrrrrrr…it was chilly today! The teachers woke to news that there was snow in Thame and, not to be outdone, we looked out of the windows to snow-capped mountains! We are all hoping the snow stays for our mountain walk on Friday. It took a bit of effort to get some of the children out

After a pretty good first night with mixed amounts of sleep, we awoke to another sunny day here in Wales. We had a good breakfast, including croissants and cereal and then we all set off on our activities for the day: Group 1 – Canoeing Group 2 – Caving Group 3 – Climbing and High
