After a pretty good first night with mixed amounts of sleep, we awoke to another sunny day here in Wales. We had a good breakfast, including croissants and cereal and then we all set off on our activities for the day:
Group 1 – Canoeing
Group 2 – Caving
Group 3 – Climbing and High Ropes
Group 4 – Canoeing
Group 5 – Caving
We all had a full day of activities and the children were absolutely buzzing on their return to the centre – full of stories of watery caves, capsized boats and conquered fears. The weather was mixed, with a few showers and interspersed with some incredible rainbows!
Our duty group for the evening served a delicious dinner of sausage and mash followed by chocolate cake and again, the dining room was filled with stories and recounts.
This evening we split in to two groups, with half of the children enjoying games, table top activities and a film; and the other half embarking on a night-time photo orienteering competition.
We definitely have some tired children this evening so we’ve all gone to bed to rest and recover before another fun-filled day tomorrow.
