We made it to Woodlands in good time, with the sun shining and a bus filled with laughter and singing! After finding our rooms and making our beds (some better than others!) we embarked on an afternoon of team-building in our activity groups. After this it was back to our rooms to unpack and get ready for dinner. On tonight’s menu we had goujons, chips, sweetcorn and peas followed by apple crumble and custard.- yum!
This evening we went on a night walk and lay on top of a hill listening to the sounds of nature and gazing at a truly mesmerising sky of stars. We located The Plough, the North Star, the Milkyway and even saw some shooting stars!
After a hot chocolate, everyone went to bed to recharge ready for a full day of activity tomorrow.
