Year 2 had a fantastic trip at Crocodiles of the world. Both classes got an informative tour from Colin (one of the zoo keepers) of the main inside zoo area, where they got to see some smaller crocs, snakes and even a tarantula. Before heading over to watch the cheeky meerkats being fed and ask questions to their zoo keep. Before lunch the children got to see the feeding of the Nile crocodiles, it was scorching hot but the crocodiles loved it and jumped super high to grab their tasty meal. We learned loads of cool facts about how they ensure which baby crocodiles are going to be girls or boys and how to tell whether an animal is a crocodile or an alligator. It was a great trip and they all had an amazing time!
