We were very lucky to have a visit from Thame fire brigade this term. They told us all about modern day fire service and how it has changed compared to during The Great Fire of London. We got a tour of the fire engine, to go inside the back seats and use he walkie talkie. The fire brigade reminded us all to check our smoke alarms at home.
