School Gardens

The children have been very busy in gardening club this year. They have grown some amazing vegetables with the help of parents that volunteer to run Gardening Club at lunchtime, Mrs Dyer, Mrs Jeffries and Mrs Pearce

Broad Beans

Planting broad beans, these have grown very well in our beds and are one of the few things you can plant in November.

Stones Close Allotment donation

The Stones Close Allotment Society have very kindly donated £75  to the school gardening club. The cheque was presented by Deputy Mayor of Thame and representatives of the Allotment Society to Sharon Smits, Chair of the PTA. The money will be used to fund the purchase of equipment and plants for the Gardening Club.

Gardening Club

The Gardening Club is up and running for the new term, ably assisted by three parents from the school, Mrs Dyer, Mrs Jeffries and Mrs Pearce. The weather has not been kind to us this year, but we have made a start by clearing the vegetable beds and planting broad beans and onions. Due to the high numbers of children wanting to attend, we have introduced a rota system, so that each child will get a chance to do some gardening.

New Borders

David Wilson Homes kindly donated a quantity of mature shrubs and plants to the school. These have been used to create a new border close to the contemplation seating area.
